Trinity Garden
Ashland, OregonTrinity Episcopal Church hired Covey Pardee to design a sacred worship and burial space that is also open to the public. Located at the corner of Lithia Way and Second Street in downtown Ashland, the garden contains a columbarium wall for burial of parishioners, a full size replica of the Chartres Cathedral labyrinth, a water feature, a rose-covered trellis structure, street furniture, plantings of Biblical significance, and numerous shade trees. Church members, local residents, and tourists meditate, contemplate, rest, and play in the garden and labyrinth throughout the year.
