Siskiyou County, California

Collaborating closely with the owner, architect and contractor for most of the 1990's, Alan Pardee worked to revitalize this northern California private retreat. The 64,000-acre estate is in a mountainous area, heavily forested, with numerous creeks and the McCloud River coursing through it. The site has been developed for many years, and contains  fine examples of classic architecture. Unfortunately, time, neglect, fire, and flooding necessitated major efforts in renovation, reconstruction, and expansion. Work began with significant client coordination to determine project scope, establish priorities, and develop budgets and timelines. Projects included restoration and new construction for swimming pools, courtyards, formal and informal gardens, and connections to the McCloud River.
