Covey Pardee Landscape Architects collaborated closely with the architect and a very involved owner in the expansion and renovation of this mediterranean style home and landscape. The home occupies a starkly beautiful site atop a finger of a large mesa, flat and dry. The project included new and reworked terraces, courtyards and trellis structures, whereas the formal fountain and swimming pool were retained. Various courtyards were design and constructed, several to complement and extend the home’s interior spaces, others to take full advantage of this 400-acre estate's surrounding views.
