Covey Pardee transformed this sloped, unusable back yard into a vibrant family recreation zone that includes a swimming pool, spa, dining deck, outdoor kitchen, sunning terrace, and climbing wall. Strategic placement of retaining walls, stairways, decks, and terraces maximizes usable outdoor space and maintains harmonious, fluid connections to both levels of the house. Design elements were carefully arranged to separate active play from passive recreation spaces and oriented to focus on expansive views of the Rogue Valley.
